So this is gonna be that last post of 2013....sad but true so for this blog post I was thinking of doing something awesome and spectacular and totally rad but I came up with nothing so i guess ur still stuck with my boring post ..

Its a girl. And shes known as "the girl on fire". THATS RIGHT JENNIFER LAWRENCE. asdfghjkl. But to be honest ive only seen the first indiana jones and im not sure how i feel about a girl...Not because of the gender roles played but its SUCH A BIG CHANGE

Jennifer Lawrence/Joe Jonas Opening Up about the Past

OMFG SO JENNIFER LAWRENCE GOT THAT NEW HAIRCUT ANd ITS ALL PIXIE-ISH AND AWESOME AND JUST SHE LOOKS so goooodddd.. and people are saying that shes turning into a Miley Cyrus but im just like nooooo she will not EVER BE A MILEY CYRUS ever.

and I think she looks really good but idk how shes gonna look for the next hunger  games movie because katniss has long hair and she has short hair so idk???????/












and then theres Joe Jonas a former disney star and pop star. He recently opened up about when he was in a relationship with Demi Lovato and when he tried drugs.

He said that he was only dating demi for a month and that after that he just didnt feel into it before--idek why, demi is amazing and asdfghjkl why would u ever want to break up with herrrrr????????--

anyways he said that he felt that he had to stay in the relationship because she was going through alot (drugs and stuff) and finally when she punched a girl on the plane her crew/ mom said she needed rehab.

Then he also said that when he was about 17 or 18ish demi and MILEY FREAKING CYRUS pressured him into drugs and so thats basically it


I also wanted to say that my blog is also gonna have more stuff than just music so thats just an fyi.

Little Mix

Okay I really have no idea where to start..........How about Little Mix's NEW FREAKING ALBUM CaME OUT AND ITS NOT LIKE IM A HUGE FAN OR WHATEVER BUT ITS REALLY GOOD AND I DOnT EVEN KNOOOOOW...

The album wont come out yet until like next year but um your probably wondering how I even heard it- well thanks to the help of the internet and Tumblr and Anna and Shanti- I got to hear the album. The girls, Perrie, Jade, Jesy, and Leigh-Anne did an AMAZING JOB with the album especially whenever they did the high notes (cough Perrie cough cough) and just the overall album and singing and everything was really good

One Direction and Blue Foundation (Its the bands name)

Okay so this was supposed to be my post for last friday but I had forgotten to post it. There will also be a post tomorrow and this Friday If I don't forget. So here it is:

So lately Ive been watching a lot of Vampire Diaries and and in a lot of the episodes I always hear this one song and every time I hear it I just like it even more. I finally decided that It was time to find out what the name of the song was and I found it on Soundhound. The name of the song is Eyes on Fire by Blue Foundation.

While I was searching the song up I also learned that it wasn't just in Vampire Diaries but in the Twilight movie (im not sure thats what it said on the website). The song is really slow and I guess if you like slow songs then you should Definitely listen to it and even if your usually not into slow songs than you should still listen to it......... Okay SO NOW FOR THE PART IVE BEEN WAITING TO TALK ABOUT


Let me start with saying that Im not a One Direction fan, and that I was but I'm not anymore and that even if you don't like One Direction you should at least try listening to one of their songs because most of them are really good and asdfghjkl.


Anyway its probably they're best album yet. Its called Midnight Memories and just asdfghjkl because all the songs that I like are beautiful and just perfect. I like the songs:

• Half a Heart because its a slow song but the lyrics are just really sweet and omfg its perfect k?
• Little Black Dress its like an 80ish idk song i guess i dont know I just really like it...
• You and I is just like asdfghjkl I can't Even

And yeah thats all I have so byeeee!!!

Th Arctic Monkeys

Everybody that I follow on Tumblr is really into music and such and not too long ago they where talking about the Arctic Monkeys. Of course I had no idea who they where but everyone said that they where really good and so finally two days ago I listened to one of their songs and I really liked it so thats why I'm blogging about it now.

The Arctic Monkeys (what a weird name I mean what monkeys would live in the arctic) are an English indie rock band formed in 2002 in High Green, a suburb of Sheffield. The band consists of Alex Turner (lead vocals, lead and rhythm guitar), Jamie Cook (rhythm/lead guitar), Nick O'Malley (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Matt Helders (drums, backing vocals). Former member Andy Nicholson (bass guitar, backing vocals) left the band in 2006 shortly after their debut album was released.

I listened to there songs almost a week ago and I really really liked them so here are a few:

Yeezus and Lady Gaga???

Kanye West

Im pretty sure we've all heard of our beloved rapper Kanye or Yeezus as some people like to call him ( shardul). He was all over the news not so long ago about his marriage proposal to Kim, and even before that he was getting interviews on his baby North West, but what I really wanted to get at was his music.

Kanye West has been singing for a pretty long while. He got a lot of recognition in 2001 when he sang or rapped or whatever in one of Jay-z's songs. From there his carrier carried him up to this point where he is now, being recognized for his album Yeezus (thats where he got his nickname).

Kanye's songs include:

But like seriously Kanye scares me alot cuz he always looks super mad and I would just like to point this out not sure if its true or not but I feek like hes always doing the Bieber stare/glance/look thingy

Lady Gaga

So this one is going to be shorty because I jut wanted to let y'all know that Lady Gaga's new full album came out and everything. I found this out shortly after I wrote the first part to this post so I anted to let you guys know. I woud listen to these songs first because there the ones I liked:

Marina and the Diamonds

Im a total fan of all this hipster music (basically Lana del Rey) and so another very Hipstery band or group (even though Marina and the Diamonds is only one person, which is weird because diamonds is plural but whatever).

Marina and the Diamonds has basically really pop songs but there not played on the radio, or at least not that Ive heard of, so I call them hipster.

She has a bunch of songs, a couple of them being:

• Bubblegum *****
• Homewrecker

My favorite being Lies and Homewrecker

 Marina Lambrini Diamandis (Now you know where you got Diamonds from) was born in the United Kingdom and is 28 years old. She rose to fame in not to long ago, in 2010 to be exact, after one of her songs hit number 2 on the BBC Sound of 2010 poll list, after Ellie Golding.

Shes one of my favorite artsist to listen to and I hope y'all like her as much as I do!!!!

Jason Derulo's New Song or Is It only NEW to me???

So how many of you had an awesome halloween??!?!?!? 

Well i didn't -_- 

I was stuck doing homework and studying. But the good thing is I just leeched candy off of my brother^-^... Yay for me! 

Anyways while I was stuck pondering over why school hated me so much and why I hadn't just blown of all my homework and gone trick-or-treating I was listening to some awesome new music. Or at least new to me.

Jason Derulo's song "Talk Dirty" (yes I know it has a very naughty name) was shown to me by Shardul (who I temporarily forgot the user name for his blog) decided to show me.

The song is basically- in one word- swaggy (is that even a word in the dictionary??? because apparently it is). After Jason sings his verse theres a trumpet in the background being played and the beat sounds super good. And for the 48 hours that I was actually obsessed with the song I liked it alot more than I should have.

 Anyway after Jason sings his part like a gazillion more times, 2 Chainz does that weird thing at the beggining of all his raps where he says his name (idk why he does this, I mean we obviously know that he's in the song I mean his name is practically on the cover) and raps and does all the stuff that 2 Chainz would normally do. 

Then the songs ends and I basically put it on repeat 5 more times 'till I knew the whole song by heart. LITERALLY. 

So what the point of this post really was, is that you should listen to the song even if you don't like rap that much because its pretty awesome. 

I mean this song doesn't even sound like the old Jason Derulo songs we usually hear here and there when theres nothing else better to play... this song is actually.... EXTREMLY GOOD JUST LIKE I SAID IN THE LAST COUPLE OF PARAGRAPHS. 

But thats about it, so I hope you guys had fun reading my rant about this song, and comment if you heard it and you liked it...

New Rap

Gas Pedal came out not to long ago by Sage the Gemini and so did Drake's new album Nothing Was the Same. One of the more popular songs on that album is Hold on we're going home. Its extremely catchy and really annoying at first, but I guess it gets better once you listen to it (you can ask shanti about that). Gas Pedal, on the other hand, is like one of my favorite rap songs ever.... its also very catchy nd it even has its own dance!!!!!!

There are also alot of other good rap songs that have come out. Eminem has come out with some new songs. Survival (also featuring in the Call of Duty Ghosts Trailer), and Bezerk, and Rap God which was shown to me by Hailey. Actually alot of songs have come out like Katy Perrys album Prism and Sweater Weather and a billion gazillion more (not really but whatevers).

Anyway I feel that Drakes raps are getting really bad like REALLY REALLY BAD but im not hating on Drake becuase everyone would hate me because hes so known and hes on of the most mainstream rappers ever. If you guys do like rape and drakes album tell me what your favorite song by him is!

Sleeping with Sirens

GUYS GUYS GUYS GUYS its almost Halloween and I'm so excited because guess what im going to be?
CLEOPATRA asdfGHJKL. 

 Most of you probably wont know about Sleeping with Sirens unless your Maggie or me. Their lead singer is Kellin Quinn *screams because Kellin is beautiful and amazing* wut??? who screamed wut?? but the rest of of the band is amazing too. The drummer is Gabe Barham, the lead guitar is Jack Fowler, the bass guitar is Justin Hills and of course Kelllin as the lead vocals. Theyre new album Feel just came out with one of theyre most popular song Alone. All there other songs are really good too. My favorite is Satellites and If you cant hang, from one of their older albums. Kellin has a SUPER high voice which sounds beautiful in all of his songs, and is actually quite surprising because he's a guy lol

I really like their music - and I think you guys will like them if you like post hard core bands. The band is from Florida... SWS ( sleeping with sirens) has featured in A LOT of songs. One of the most popular (and one of my favorites is King for a Day in which Kellin features in Pierce the Veil's album.

Some other bands like SWS are

• You Me At Six
• All Time Low

 Some of these bands have a little more screamo so if you dont really like that then you probs shoudnt listen to thses excepty All Time Low and You Me At Six). I hope you guys end up finding some of these bands interesting and maybe even start listening to their music!!!! See you guys later:)

Justin Biebers New Song

So as you all have probably heard of Justin Bieber - *Hears fangirls in the distance*. The teen pop celebrity became famous when he was 13 with his song 'Baby' and from there he became the famous singer we know today. After he did drugs and got all these tattoos his fan base became almost as crazy as the One Direction Fandom. His fans started trending "cut for bieber". The fans thought that if they could get Justins attention and show him how much they were hurt by the choices he had made he would stop what he was doing. This of course didn't help get his popularity back up. He also didnt write any new songs during that period of time so that may also be a reason for Justin not showing up in the media like he had before.

But lately Justin came up with a new single Heartbreaker. "It's a song for people going through a heartbreak -- like I was when I wrote it," Bieber wrote of "Heartbreaker," which alludes to his break-up with Selena Gomez late last year, in the song's iTunes description, which he then posted on Twitter. "It means so much to me to be able to share what I was, and still am going through, with my fans. I'm very proud of this song and I hope it give my fans some insight into my heart."

As much as I like Justin (which is not that much) his new song didn't WOW me as much as his others. The song was pretty slow and all it really didnt catch my attention. Personally I think Justins can dow WAY better when it comes to his songs, but that doesnt mean he cant write better songs when his full album comes out! Hopefully his songs will get better and we wont have to listen to his old ones. The New Katy Perry

So as im sure most of you saw the  VMA's. Im also sure most of you have heard Katy Perry;s new song Roar. She sang it at the VMA's and not too long ago did a music video (which personally was kind of bad- i liked the lyric video alot more). I feel that Katy is changing her singing style a lot (she also made a teaser video where she burning her 'old image' and her burning her old wig)

She hasn't released anything about her new album 'Prism', which is totally killing me because I want to hear more of her new songs! But one song that I have heard is Dark Horse. Its like the best song ever (pun intended because of One Directions song 'Best Song Ever' hehe). The song features Juicy J (who also has a large amount of swag)

I was basically at a friends house videotaping something when we decided to play some music  on my phone. Then the WE STARTED FREAKING OUT BECAUSE DARK HORSE STARTED PLAYING AND IT WAS AMAZING AND ASDFGHJKL. (shanti, amrutha, riya, susmita heard it with me).

I think that Katy is gonna do a great job on her album !!!


                        

The Glorious Lana Del Rey

So I started this blog to show you all my music tastes and what I listen to everyday. My tastes go all the way from pop to punk and rap. Today I'll talk about the amazing Lana Del Rey. And when I say amazing I really mean amazing lol.

Lana has alot of songs but some of her most popular songs are Summertime Sadness, Born to Die, Blue Jeans, and Young and Beautiful. But my  all time favorite song is Young and Beautiful (which also is in the movie the Great Gatsby *fangirls*).  These aren't all of her songs (if they were, I would be up all night waiting for the next Lana song haha). Lana sings alot of atmospheric, orchestral, retro-'60s-sounding pop that showcases her torchy image and sensuous singing style.

I hope you all like Lana as  much as I do because I know the first time I heard her I totally fell in love with her songs and image.
